Given my experience with the KJEO team in extending and renovating my home I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone as a preferred builder for quality and good value.
We decide on KJEO to undertake our home extension which incorporated an open plan living dining area, laundry, bathroom, ensuite and outdoor entertaining area all matching into our original home which included 3.3m ceilings, continuation of the original roofline, high 2.4m doors, decorative cornice, 2.7m sliding stacker corner doors and a burnished concrete floor.
Kyle was active through our initial design stage making several great suggestions which were incorporated into our home. The team did a fantastic job at a very busy time of year leading up to the Christmas break and with a strict deadline as our first baby was due in January and the house needed to be finished. Kyle’s project management skills, builders and their team of subcontractors ensured our house was completed on time and to a very high standard.

This was a complete renovation makeover from beginning to end in the suburb of Norwood. Our clients as well as our team, could not be more happy with the end result.

As new residents of Adelaide we had no knowledge of who we could approach to build our extension and renovation of our original 100-year-old symmetrical cottage. After an exhaustive search and an immediate rapport with Kyle, we settled on KJEO.
The project entailed removal of raised garden beds, tons of dirt, trees and sheds; demolition of the ‘60s lean-to addition at the rear of the cottage; extensive renovations in the original cottage including removing fireplaces, converting one room into the main and ensuite bathrooms, replastering all walls, new ceilings, cornices and architraves; building an extension to include open plan living, dining and kitchen, outdoor entertainment area, study and laundry to match the original cottage.
The project also included building a large garage to house our motor home, a 13m long carport, a driveway, garden beds and paths.
Kyle worked closely with us throughout our large and complex project providing great suggestions but also listening to, visualizing, problem-solving and incorporating our wants.
Kyle’s focus on attention to detail was emulated by his team and sub-contractors. We appreciate everyone’s dedication to the project and the high quality of the finish.

In mid to late 2020 the KJEO crew took on the renovation and extension of our 1930’s Californian bungalow in West Croydon. This was an enormous project and whilst we believed it would be a pretty significant renovation we never foresaw the enormity of what we were about to encounter.
We had an idea of what we wanted our house to look like and what we wanted to achieve, however our vision and dream renovation would never have come to fruition without extensive planning, meetings, ideas and problem-solving that Kyle and his lovely wife Bianca brought to the table.
For us the planning stage was the most difficult but that’s why you put your faith in a builder who you trust. We lent on Kyle and Bianca so much for advice, they helped with so many areas and guided us through lots of difficult navigation.
Once all the plans and finances were approved, we thought that all the stress would dissipate. However, by the time the build began, the pandemic had started to have a major effect on the building industry. Suddenly materials became extremely difficult to source and certain things that were out of everyone’s control slightly slowed the process.
Trying to build someone’s dream home in the middle of a pandemic with rising costs, labour and materials not as easy to come by as in previous years, must have been a stressful and difficult time for Kyle and the crew. Thankfully for us they delivered in spades.
Led by Dave (or Superman, as we called him) the guys were always polite, easy to approach when there were issues, worked to a difficult schedule at times and always produced fantastic results.
The workmanship is of the highest quality of which the boys must be commended for.
A renovation of an old home isn’t an easy job and the KJEO crew really excelled in bringing our dreams to life.
We are now living in our humble abode, and we could not be happier with the final result…it really is a masterpiece and we are eternally thankful for what the KJEO crew produced.
